From the Tape Drive Info page, you can view status information about the tape
drive(s), including the serial number of each tape drive, its code level, and its
operational status.
To view tape drive information:
1. 1. 1. 1. Click on Info at the top of the page.
2. 2. 2. 2. Click on Tape drive information. A page similar to Figure 6-34 appears.
Table 6-9 describes the information on this page.

Field Description
Drive ID D1 is the tape drive closest to the fixed cartridge slots; D2 is located to the right
of D1.
Serial Number The tape drive’s serial number.
WWN The tape drive’s world wide name (applicable only to Fibre Channel tape drives).
Flash The code level of the tape drive’s flash EEPROM.
Tape Format The data format of the cartridge currently in the tape drive.
Cartridge Status The status of the cartridge, if any, in the tape drive:
