Description
Index
Lists the index of the element for which the information is being displayed. (See
for the element index number assignments.)
Type
Indicates the type of element:
Cartridge slot
Tape drive
Robot
Entry/exit port (EEP)
Warning
Displays 0 if there are no failures or errors associated with this element or displays
an error code. See
for a list of error codes and corrective actions.
Occupied
Indicates whether the element contains a cartridge (1) or not (0).
Valid
Indicates whether the Occupied field is accurate (1) or is questionable (0).
Accessible
Indicates whether the tape drive is accessible (1) or not (0). The tape drive is
accessible if it is installed in the drive bay and there is no cartridge loaded inside
the drive.
Note:
This field applies only to tape drives. For all other elements, the value
is 0.
Present
Indicates whether the tape drive or magazine is installed (1) or not (0) or if the
entry/exit port is locked (1) or unlocked (0).
Note:
If the element references a slot, this flag indicates whether the
corresponding magazine is installed.
Label/Valid
If the element contains a cartridge whose bar code label has been scanned, the
Label field contains the bar code label contents. The Valid field indicates whether
the Label field is valid (1) or not (0).
