5. Press Enter. The utility’s Home page appears. Figure 6-1 shows an example
of the Home page.
The Home page provides information in three sections:
Library Status – Indicates the current robot control mode and any messages
displayed on the first and second lines of the library’s LCD.
Operator Messages – Provides information when the library is operating in
sequential mode.
Tape Drive Statu s – Indicates the current status of each tape drive.
At the bottom of the Home page is a Refresh button that you can click to
update the information on the page. An option for automatically refreshing
the page is also available. To use this option, check the Automatically refresh
library status box and click on the Refresh button. The information on the
page is refreshed approximately every 3 seconds.

At the top of each page, you can click on links to access the following pages:
Configure – Provides selections for changing the library’s robot control
mode; configuring the SCSI, Fibre Channel, network (Ethernet), and serial
interfaces; and configuring system-wide, security, and tape drive cleaning
settings.
Access – Provides selections for unlocking the library’s entry/exit port and
door.
