Note: To stop a test in progress, click on the Stop button.

You can issue the following tape drive commands:
Clean a tape drive – Cleans the tape drive by inserting a cleaning cartridge
into the drive and removing the cartridge when the cleaning is finished.
Unload a tape drive – Unloads a cartridge from the tape drive.
Cleaning a Tape Drive
If a tape drive requires cleaning and you are not using the library’s Autoclean
option (see page 107 ), you can issue a command to clean the tape drive using a
cleaning cartridge stored in the library.
To use this cleaning method, make sure that you have:
Installed a cleaning cartridge in the appropriate slot. See page 16 .
Activated the cleaning cartridge slot. See page 107 .
Specified the number of cleaning cycles available on the cleaning cartridge.
See page 107 .
Turned off the Autoclean Option. See page 107 .
