Setting Sequential Mode Options
When the library is operating in one of its sequential modes, it automatically
moves cartridges sequentially between the cartridge slots and a tape drive,
without instructions from an application. To customize how sequential mode
works, you can set the Loop, Restart, and Next Cartridge options. See page 60
for more information about sequential operation and the sequential mode
options.
To set sequential mode options:
1. 1. 1. 1. Click on Configure at the top of the page.

3. 3. 3. 3. Click on Configure library system. A page similar to Figure 6-14 appears.

4. If necessary, enter the remote manager password (see page 105 ).

5. Check or uncheck the Sequential Restart and Sequential Loop boxes, as
desired.
6. 6. 6. 6. Specify a slot number in the Sequential next slot field, as desired.
