8.1.5 Linearization

This section of Utilities Manager allows defining customized linearizations, it means defining new sensors types. To select the proper linearization, see par.4.1.8 about math functions:

By all means, before selecting a linearization on your instrument, you have to define it and transfer it in the instrument through LinMan: for that purpose, proceed as following.

Run Utilities Manager and select “
Create/edit linearization data
” from
Tools
menu
A new window allows defining a new linearization, it means to set unit and input scale, output unit, decimals and function name.
A numeric table allows defining numeric values which permit to obtain the linearization function.
