Printer Message

*1: The relationship between covers where a paper jam occurs and status codes

are as listed below. If two or more paper jams occur, the status code to be dis-
played is determined with the status code 1) given top priority and the other sta-
tus codes given priority in the order of 2) ~ 4).

1) 4012: A
2) 4008: B
3) 4009: C1, C2
4) 4017: DM

*2: When “Avoid Error = ON” is set, none of the errors “Paper Set”, “Invalid Size”,

“Mem Overflow” and “Duplex Mem Overflow” occurs.

*3: When “Size Ignore = ON” is set, neither the error “Paper Set” nor the warning

“Check Paper Size” occurs.

*4: This status will be displayed as “Calibration Printer” in the Status Monitor win-

dow.

3.2.2 Printer Message Details of Status Messages

and Remedies

Below are the status messages that are unique to AcuLaser C2000 / AcuLaser
C1000:

3.2.2.1 Details of Status Messages and Remedy

(AcuLaser C2000)

Calibrating Printer

Explanation
This is one READY message. At the following timing, engine is
automatically calibrated.

1. At powering on

2. Cover is opened and closed except for canceling Jam error.

3. It has printed 100 pages or 24 hours passed from the last calibrating
and returned from Standby state.

LED
The Continue LED is off. LED blinks.

Treatment Method
Wait for about one minute and the printer will automatically resume. Do
not open any printer cover while calibrating.

Cooling Down
Now cooling down the printer engine.

Explanation
At the following timing, cooling operation is automatically started.
When starts print to OHP sheets, if the internal temperature is too high.

LED
The Continue LED is off. LED blinks.

Treatment Method
Wait for about one minute and the printer will automatically resume
and start printing.
