1.2 USB FLASH DRIVE

SYSTEM BACKUP
The « USB FLASH DRIVE

System backup » menu is used to archive the data and store the
analyzer’s program and configuration information on the user’s USB flash drive. Two files are
automatically generated in compressed mode on the root directory of the USB flash drive using a
specific syntax. Examples of these file names are given below for analyzer AF22M n°645 version 3.6.:
File containing the program and the configuration at the date of 12/11/2012
esa_bak_af22m_v36a_s0645_d20121112.zip (AF22M n°645 version 3.6.a)
File containing the archives up to the date of 12/11/2012
esa_data_af22m_v36a_s0645_d20121112.zip (AF22M n°645 version 3.6.a)
In order to secure the data, the files are encrypted with a password necessary for their extraction. A
specific utility program, «
DataConverter.exe », is available on request to extract data and convert
them into CSV format that is usable with a spreadsheet such as Microsoft Excel.
For each system backup, all of the records are transferred to the USB flash drive.
The DNP-Arm7 board contains the data for a maximum of 360 days. When the maximum number of
recorded days is reached, the file for the oldest day is replaced with the file from the most recent day.
The three screens that follow are successively displayed during the data backup.
