Alarm messages

Sample pressure
Min. value: 600 hPa
Max. value : 1200 hPa
If pressure is lower than 600 hPa:
– Sampling line outside the analyzer
is clogged.
–
Teflon filter and/or particle filter is
dirty.
– Pressure sensor is faulty.
– One element of the internal fluid
circuit of the analyzer is clogged.
– Check sampling line.
–
Change Teflon filter and/or particle filter.
–
Change pressure sensor.
– Look for the faulty element and remedy
the fault.
If pressure is higher than 1200 hPa:
–
If the flow rate measured at the
sample inlet is higher than 100 L/h,
the restrictor assembled in the fluid
circuit is not the correct model or
there is no restrictor.
– Pump does not work correctly.
–
Pressure sensor and/or pressure
board are faulty.
–
Dismount the fluid circuit to verify that the
restrictor is the correct model, or put the
restrictor in place if it is missing.
– Make sure the inlet and outlet of the
pump are connected correctly.
–
Check status of diaphragm and valves of
pump, clean them, and/or change them
(see the maintenance pump sheet in
Chapter 4).
– Change pressure board.

PAY ATTENTION: This alarm triggers
only when the analyzer is switched to
zero air.
In the « TESTS

Chamber
parameters » menu, Loss indicates
that a value is out of its limits:
– Alignment of the lenses and/or the
mirrors is wrong.

There is a leak in the fluid circuit.
– Mirrors are dirty.
– Tighten ends of measurement chamber
and/or check lens positioning.
–
Check tightness of fluid circuit, specifically
of the measurement chamber.
– Clean mirrors and change particle filter.
