3.2

INSTALLATION

This chapter describes the installation procedure for the IDR

IDO 3G.

Installation simply involves installing the rack on the site and commissioning it

(see Section 3.3.1).
The resources needed for the installation are just a standard tool case for mounting in a

cabinet.
The installation steps are described in the flowchart in Figure 3.1.

Connect the antenna,

earth and power supply

cables (Section 2.3.4.1

to 2.3.4.2 and 3.2.3).

If used, connect the

remote alarm cable

(Section 2.3.4.3

and 3.2.3).

Power up the

IDR IDO 3G

(Section 3.3.1.2).

Select the IDR IDO 3G

channel

(Section 3.3.1.3).

Select the transmission

level (Section 3.3.1.4).

Activate transmission

(Section 3.3.1.5).

End of installation

Check the site radio

engineering provisions.
