REPLACING THE 3G PA-TRX MODULE
REMOVAL
• Disconnect cables W1, W10, W20, W30 and W40 (and W41 for the antenna diversity
option) (see Plate 6.VIII) frm the sockets located on the front panel of the
3G PA-TRX module (see Plate 6.I, item 12).
• Loosen the 4 captive screws on the front panel of the 3G PA-TRX module.
• Remove teh 3G PA-TRX module by pulling the handle.
INSTALLATION
• Check that the functional technical status of the new 3G PA-TRX module is compatible
with the old one (see Section 1.3, Document [3]).
• Install the 3G PA-TRX module (see Plate 6.I, item 12) in its housing.
• Connect and lock cables W1, W10, W20, W30 and W40 (and W41 for the antenna
diversity option) (see Plate 6.VIII).
COMPLEMENTARY OPERATION(S)
• Connect the control and configuration PC with the Ethernet cable to the ETH0 socket
(see Figure 2.1, item 18) on the 3G PA-TRX module.
• Reload the current configuration (TPS application, see Document [1]).
• Test the IDR IDO 3G (see Sheet P-2).
• Put back the clear protective cover (see Plate 6.I, item 13) on the front panel by pushing
it back in and tightening the holding screws.
