IDR IDO 3G - Technical Manual

REPLACING THE SYNCHRONISATION BOARD

REMOVAL

• Find and disconnect all the cables connected to the synchronisation board

(see Plate 6.VIII).

• Unscrew the 6 screws holding the synchronisation board (see Plate 6.III, item 1).
• Remove the 2 CTRL connector locking nuts from the 3G PA-TRX module.
• Remove the synchronisation board (item 1) and place it on the anti-static mat.

INSTALLATION

• Check that the functional technical status of the new board is compatible with the old

one (see Section 1.3, Document [3]).

• Install the synchronisation board (item 1) with the spacers.
• Place the 2 CTRL connector locking nuts on the 3G PA-TRX module without tightening

them.

• Attach the synchronisation board (item 1) using the 6 securing screws.

COMPLEMENTARY OPERATION(S)

• Roll out Sheet P-3.
• Remove the anti-static armlet.
• Replace the upper cover (see Plate 6.I, item 1).

• Test the IDR IDO 3G (see Sheet P-2).
• Put away the anti-static equipment.
