INTRODUCTION

PURPOSE OF DOCUMENT
The purpose of this document is to describe the independent digital repeater in rackable or
standalone version, designated
IDR IDO 3G
(3
rd
Generation InDOor Portable Independent
Repeater) and to provide th information needed for its usage and level O maintenance.
This document is divided into the following chapters:

This chapter provides general information including abbreviations, definitions, etc.

This chapter describes the subassemblies of the IDR IDO 3G, its characteristics and the
functions it performs.

This chapter contains the man-machine interfaces, the procedures for accessing the
various functions and the associated messages.

This chapter describes the level O preventive and corrective maintenance.
It specifies the tools required, the tests to be carried out and the procedures for
replacing sub-assemblies in order to maintain or re-establish system performances.

This chapter has four blank pages for the operator to make notes.
•
This chapter contains all the plates in the document.
This document is applicable as from the phase defined in Document [0] (see Section 1.3).
