When any of the following occur while watching 1Seg, Multi Window
appears and the corresponding function is activated. 1Seg sound is
interrupted.
If watching 1Seg in the horizontal display, the horizontal display is
switched to the vertical display.
The same action is taken while recording.
Use the Program guide i-

ppli to select a program and start 1Seg
program. Also, set timer for starting or recording a program.

program.
Record videos of a program being displayed or a scene as a still
picture.
Recorded videos/still pictures are automatically named as follows.
The videos/still pictures recorded to the FOMA terminal handset are
named according to the date and time of recording.
Example: End recording at 1:05 P.M. on August 11, 2009

[200908111305xxx] (“xxx” is a single-byte alphanumeric
number)
The videos recorded to the microSD Card are named as [PRGxxx]
(“xxx” is a single-byte alphanumeric)
The recording of some videos may be prohibited.
Video recording cannot be started while the Multi Window is displayed.
The following operations cannot be performed on recorded videos/still
pictures.
Screen settings such as the stand-by display settings or incoming/
outgoing call screen settings
Mail attachment, Ir communication or sending via iC communication
Editing video and images
Copying/Moving from the microSD Card to the FOMA terminal
handset (video)
Copying/Moving from the FOMA terminal handset to the microSD
Card (still picture)
If the following functions are activated while watching 1Seg, Multi
Window is not activated but 1Seg sound is heard.

Incoming voice call A call can be answered.
Return to the status before receiving a call when
a call is finished.

Videophone call A call can be answered.

recording videos, the recording ends.

a call is rejected by pressing

Alarm/Schedule
alarm The details of alarm/schedule can be checked when
the alarm is stopped.
Return to the status before the alarm was
activated when an alarm is finished.

After a call is ended, 1Seg may start automatically. At this time, the
voice and sound are played in the volume for 1Seg. Keep the FOMA
terminal away from your ear.
