1.3 A First Look at the Printer

1.3.2 Installing the Power Cord

Set the power switch to OFF (0).

Check that the voltage of the printer (marked on the printer’s electrical
data plate) matches the voltage supplied through the wall outlet.

Plug the power cord into the inlet at the back of the printer (see
Figure 1–4).

Plug the other end of the cord into the wall outlet.
