NIBP. Tap
START
when the patient is wearing the NIBP cuff and is ready.
•
SPO2. Starts automatically when the sensor is
on the patient’s finger.
•
Tympanic Temperature. Use the thermometer probe to take ear canal temperature.
5. Assess the Respiratory Rate:
•
Tap in the RR field. The RR entry menu appears.
•
Tap
START
to begin the timer, which beeps every 15 seconds.
•
Count breaths until the timer stops automatically or until you tap
STOP
.
•
Select the counted breaths per minute (bpm) by scrolling the dial.
6. Optionally, to enter height and weight manually:
•
Tap the Height or Weight field. The Height and Weight entry dials appear.
•
Scroll the dials up or down to select the weight and height. Stop when the correct weight and
height values are highlighted by the blue strips.
•
Select
the patient’s pain level using the Pain entry dial (0-10).
7. When all testing has been completed, review the results and patient data.
8. Select
SAVE
