Virtual Exam
The Virtual Exam provides real time video-conferencing between the IDM100 Medical Tablet user (HCP or
patient) and a remotely located HCP. This feature is available during all test modalities, except audiometry.
The Virtual Exam is subject to the limitations imposed by the Indications for Use, where an HCP must be
physically present with the subject for both audiometry and spirometry.
6.1
Initiate a Virtual Exam
Virtual Exam conference audio is temporarily suspended during stethoscope use.
To initiate a Virtual Exam:
1. Verify that you have selected the patient for the Virtual Exam.
The patient’s image appears on the
bottom action bar.
2. Tap the
Virtual Exam
icon on the Home screen.
3. If Virtual Exam Status is online, then go to step 3.
If Virtual Exam Status is offline, then perform either A or B below:
A. If the offline message appears, tap
Yes
.
B. Tap on your image in the bottom action bar. The Current Physician pop-up menu appears.
