connectivity to the other
tablet or browser.
Initiate the Virtual Exam when the other
party is online and available.
The user is offered the
option to end the Virtual
Exam.

Confirm to terminate the current Virtual
Exam, and select new patient.

Guidelines for Using the Stethoscope during a Virtual Exam
When using the stethoscope during a Virtual Exam, follow the instructions and guidelines below, in addition to
the stethoscope instructions in section 16
•
Connect the stethoscope and headphones to
the patient’s IDM100 Medical Tablet and connect the
headphones to the clinician’s laptop.
•
Audio feedback may occur, if during a virtual exam, the
patient’s IDM100 Medical Tablet and the
clinician’s laptop are too close; for instance, during a demonstration in which both devices are in the
same room. Moving them away from each other, or muting their microphones, will resolve the
feedback.
