Disable the spanning tree protocol globally on the switch.

Syntax disable
To enable Spanning Tree Protocol, use the
no disable
command.
Defaults Enabled (that is, the spanning tree protocol is disabled.)

To return to the default setting, use the
no forward-delay
command.
Parameters
seconds
Enter the number of seconds the FTOS waits before transitioning STP
to the Forwarding state. The range is 4 to 30. The default is 15
seconds.
Defaults 15 seconds
