3. Remove the screw on each corner of the
disk tray (total of 4) that attach the tray to
the Macintosh II. Be careful not to drop the
screws into the machine. Place the screws in
a safe place so they can be replaced once the
installation is complete.

4. Find where the disk drive cables connect to
the motherboard. You m ust put them back
in the sam e place. Unplug the floppy disk
drive cable. Unplug the hard disk cable by
sw inging the two latch locks outward on
the hard drive connector. Detach the hard
drive’
