4. Turn off the Macintosh Ilex
and remove
the power cord and all accessory cables
from the back of the Macintosh.
5. Press the power switch
on the right rear
of the Mac three times to drain the power
supply.

Place the Macintosh Ilex
on an unob­
structed flat work area with the front of the
Macintosh facing you.
Begin the
installation
1. Using
a
small Phillips screwdriver, remove
the single screw in the rear of your
M acintosh Ilex.

2. Lift the latches on both sides of the back
cover up and out w hile raising the cover
from the Macintosh. NOTE: This procedure
