nut clockwise. This will lift the CPU from
its socket evenly.

7. Once removed, install the CPU into the
adapter socket. Align pin 1 on the CPU (gold
Y-line) with pin 1 of the socket (white trian
gle). To protect the adapter’
s pins, the instal
lation should be done on the edge of a flat
surface, with the pins over hanging as shown.
