Scalding hot coolant and steam
could be blown out under pressure,
which could cause serious injury.
Never remove the coolant surge tank
cap when the engine and radiator
are hot.
WARNING
Take precautions to prevent anti-
freeze coming in contact with the
skin or eyes.
• If contact happens, rinse affected
areas immediately with plenty of
water.
• If irritation persists, consult doc-
tor.
For protection in extremely cold weather con-
ditions, use 40% water and 60% ethylene gly-
col antifreeze mix.

CAUTION
The engine or cooling system could
be damaged.
• The antifreeze content of the cool-
ant should be maintained at a
minimum of 50%. The antifreeze
content must not be allowed to
exceed 60%.
• Do not use alcohol or methanol
antifreeze or mix them with the
specified coolant.
• Use only soft (demineralized) wa-
ter in the coolant mixture.
• Do not overfill the coolant.
• If frequent additions are required,
contact Daewoo Dealer for cooling
system check.
