AUDIO SYSTEM* (RADIO, CASSETTE AND CD PLAYER) 5–11
Treble Control :
Treble control is used to adjust the treble
(high frequency) sound quality.
1. Select the treble control mode using the
sound mode selector knob (2).
2. When the "TRE" indicator appears on the
L.C.D., rotate volume control knob (1)
clockwise to increase the treble(high
frequency) and counterclockwise to de-
crease it.
The treble level will appear as numeric-
signal on the L.C.D.
The numeric-signal "0" indicates the
original sound level.
The highest treble level is "+5" and the
lowest "-5".
3. After adjusting, the signal will return to
the original condition 5 seconds later.
Bass Control :
Bass control is used to adjust the bass (low
frequency) sound quality.
1. Select the bass control mode using the
sound mode selector knob(2).
2. When the "BAS" indicator appears on the
L.C.D., rotate volume control knob (1)
clockwise to increase the bass (low fre-
quency) and counterclockwise to de-
crease it.
The bass level will appear as numeric-
signal on the L.C.D.
The numeric-signal "0" indicates the
original sound level.
The highest bass level is "+5" and the
lowest "-5".
3. After adjusting, the signal will return to
the original condition 5 seconds later.
Balance Control :
Balance control is used to adjust the volume
of the left and right speakers.
1. Select the balance control mode using
the sound mode selector knob (2).
2. When "BAL" indicator appears on the
L.C.D., rotate volume control knob (1)
clockwise to decrease the volume of left
speakers.
Then, the balance level signal will
change from "R1" up to "R15".
3. To decrease the volume of the right
speakers, rotate volume control knob
(1) counterclockwise.
The balance level signal will change
from "L1" up to "L15".
4. When the signal "0" appears on the
L.C.D., the equivalent volume of left and
right speakers is heard.
5. After adjusting, the signal will return to
the original condition 5 seconds later.
