AUDIO SYSTEM* (RADIO, CASSETTE AND CD PLAYER) 5–29
GENERAL OPERATION
Power / Volume Control Knob (1)
Power On :
Press this knob to turn the audio system on.
The stations, tape or CD changer signal will
appear on the V.F.D.
Power Off :
Press the knob again to turn the audio system
off.
All signals will disappear on the V.F.D.
How to Adjust the Sound (2)
Sound Mode Selection (17) :
To select the desired audio mode, press
sound mode selector button (2).
The audio mode indicator and numeric sig-
nal will appear on the V.F.D.
Each time you press this knob, the audio
mode changes as follows ;
→
VOL
→
BAS
→
TRE
→
FAD
→
BAL
When the desired mode is selected, adjust
the sound by rotating power/volume control
knob (1).
After adjusting, the signal will be changed
to the original condition 5 seconds later.
Volume Control (1) :
1. Rotate power/volume control knob (1)
clockwise to increase the volume and
counterclockwise to decrease the vol-
ume. The volume level will appear as nu-
meric-signal on the V.F.D.
2. After adjusting, the signal will return to
the original condition 5 seconds later.
NOTE
• Audio system will be operated at
the mode which you operated be-
fore turning off the audio system.
• When ejecting the tape, the mode
is automatically transferred to the
last mode.
• Audio system can be operated
when the ignition key is at "ACC"
or "ON" position.
NOTE
• Audio system will be ON, inserting
a tape or CD, or pressing AM/FM
button, CD button, tape button.
