5–6 AUDIO SYSTEM* (RADIO, CASSETTE AND CD PLAYER)
CASSETTE OPERATION
1. Rotate the power/volume control knob
clockwise. Then the radio is turned on.
2. To turn the cassette on, insert the cas-
sette tape into the tape slot.
Mode is automatically transferred from
radio to cassette system, and the tape
begins to play.
"TAPE" and tape direction indicators will
appear on the L.C.D.
3. If a tape is aleardy loaded in the tape
slot when the audio system is turned on,
the cassette mode is turned on and the
tape begins to play.
4. To eject the tape, press the tape eject
button (11). Then the radio is automati-
cally turned on.
5. To turn off the audio system, rotate the
power/volume control knob counter-
clockwise until the click sound is heard.
Program :
To play back the opposite side of tape while
playing back one side, press the fast for-
ward (
) and rewind (
) buttons simul-
taneously.
Auto Reverse
When the tape reaches at the end of one
side, it will automatically reverse and play
back the other side of tape.
Fast Forward / Rewind & Program
Buttons (9)
Fast Forward :
To fast forward wind the tape, press the fast
forward button (
). The tape direction in-
dicator will blink on the L.C.D.
When the tape reaches its end, it is auto-
matically reversed and played back from the
beginning of the opposite side.
To stop the fast forward movement, press
the rewind button (
).
Rewind :
To rewind the tape, press the rewind but-
ton (
). The tape direction indicator will
blink on the L.C.D.
When the tape is fully rewound, it is played
back from the beginning of the same side.
To stop the rewind movement, press the fast
forward button (
).
