Wireless N300 PoE Access Point / Router
User Manual
Configuring via Web-based Interface
The WMM function allows assigning priorities for four Access Categories (AC):
•
BK
(
Background
), low priority traffic (print jobs, file downloads, etc.).
•
BE
(
Best Effort
), traffic from legacy devices or devices/applications that do not support
QoS.
•
VI
(
Video
).
•
VO
(
Voice
).
Parameters of the Access Categories are defined for both the access point itself (in the
Access
Point
section) and wireless devices connected to it (in the
Station
section).
To edit the parameters of an Access Category, left-click the relevant line. In the opened window,
change the needed parameters.

Parameter
Description
AIFSN
Arbitrary Inter-Frame Space Number
.
This parameter influences time delays for the relevant Access
Category. The lower the value, the higher is the Access Category
priority.
CWMin/CWMax
Contention Window Minimum/Contention Window Maximum
.
Both fields influence time delays for the relevant Access Category.
The
CWMax
field value should not be lower, than the
CWMin
field
value. The lower the difference between the
CWMax
field value
and the
CWMin
field value, the higher is the Access Category
priority.
