E1 type (54512).
NOTE:
For the clock card to detect an E1 type of input card, the input card itself must be
present. Without an E1 input card physically plugged in, the clock card will default to
run the T1 type of operation.
E, then 2
Displayed momentarily immediately after power-up if clock card
detects a 2.048 MHz square wave input card (54512).
L
Acquiring input reference (warming up).
H HOLD
state.
A
Synthesizer control in top 25% of range.
b
Synthesizer control in bottom 25% of range.
=
Primary input in use.
||
Secondary input in use.
c
Standalone state: Internal switch S2 in TEST position (Not
recommended for normal use).
r
Free running state: No input is present and no tracking has
occurred. (Happens on power-up if TEST pushbutton is not being
pressed and no qualified DS1/E1 inputs are present.)
b. Error conditions when card goes into HOLD state:
2
Excess BPVs; does not cause hold.
3 LOF
synchronization.
4 AIS.
5
Input in Yellow Alarm state.
6
Excessive frame bit errors (FBEs); does not cause hold.
7
Outside nominal tracking range of ±7.1 Hz or jitter more than 7 UI
peak.
8
Excessive invalid cyclic redundancy check sum (CRC6) codes (for
ESF signals only); does not cause hold.
9
LOS (175 consecutive zeros).
