However, there are some output card types that remain with a 10-output capacity and it is
possible that these might be utilized with a 200-output shelf. Therefore, the installer must
refer to the above diagram to understand where ten output signals will appear on a
wirewrap pin field of 20-output capacity. Basically, of the 20 pairs of tip and ring wirewrap
pins on the shelf, pins 1-16 are unused and pins 37-40 are unused. The ten output
signals begin on pins 17-18 and continue up to 35-36.
There is no other technical issue with mixing 10-output cards and 20-output cards in one
