A
APN
Access Point Name. The Access Point Name is used by the terminal operator to establish
the connection to the required destination network.

CS
Circuit Switched. Circuit-switched networks require dedicated point-to-point connections
during calls.

DHCP
Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol. A protocol for assigning dynamic IP addresses to
devices on a network. With dynamic addressing, a device can have a different IP address
every time it connects to the network.
DNS
Domain Name System. A system translating server names (URLs) to server addresses.

ECEF
The Earth-Centered Earth-Fixed or conventional terrestrial coordinate system rotates
with the Earth and has its origin at the center of the Earth. The X axis passes through the
equator at the prime meridian. The Z axis passes through the north pole but it does not
exactly coincide with the instantaneous Earth rotational axis. The Y axis can be
determined by the right-hand rule to be passing through the equator at 90 degrees
longitude.

GLONASS

in English.
GNSS
Global Navigation Satellite System. A satellite navigation system with global coverage.
Examples are GPS, GLONASS or BeiDou.
GPS
Global Positioning System. A system of satellites, computers, and receivers that is able to
determine the latitude and longitude of a receiver on Earth by calculating the time
difference for signals from different satellites to reach the receiver.

HTTP
HyperText Transfer Protocol. HTTP is the underlying protocol used by the World Wide
Web and this protocol defines how messages are formatted and transmitted, and what
actions Web servers and browsers should take in response to various commands.
HTTPS
Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is an extension of the Hypertext Transfer
Protocol (HTTP). It is used for secure communication over a computer network, and is
widely used on the Internet.
