Installing the Check Point IP690 Appliance

Check Point IP690 Security Platform Installation Guide

Optionally, remove the chassis tray assembly from the appliance.

Loosen the two chassis tray assembly retaining screws from the front panel of the
appliance.

Slowly slide the chassis tray assembly forward, taking care to prevent damaging
components, press the release tab on the right side of the assembly, and completely
remove the chassis tray assembly to expose the motherboard components.

Place the chassis tray assembly on a properly grounded surface.
