If Paper Jams Are Occurring Frequently
Cleaning the Corona Wires
If paper jams are occurring frequently even though there is apparently nothing wrong with the
machine, use the following procedure to clean the corona wires.
CAUTION
• The area around the fuser unit and the output area are subject to high temperatures. Take ade-
quate precautions to avoid burns when cleaning paper jams. Do not touch any other areas except
the designated areas for this purpose.
CAUTION! HOT SURFACE
To avoid burns, do not touch the inner roller. ATTENTION : CHAUD!
Pour eviter de se bruler, ne pas toucher au rouleau interne.
¡CUIDADO! ¡SUPERFICIE CALIENTE!
Para evitar quemaduras, no toque el rodillo interior. ATTENZIONE! SUPERFICIE CALDA!
Par evitare ustioni, non toccare il rullo interno.

Beruhren Sin nicht die innere Walze, um Verbrennungen zu vermeiden.
