Replacing the Cartridge

1-23

Maintenance

Lift up the white protective tape

and

pull gently to remove it with the black
sheet .

Rock the cartridge five or six times
gently to distribute the toner evenly.

NOTE

• If toner is not evenly distributed inside the

cartridge, this can cause streaking or fad-
ing on the printed page.

Place the cartridge on a flat, stable surface.
