When You See Black Spots or White Specks
If you see black spots or white specks on printouts and copies, the fixing roller inside the fuser unit
may be dirty. When this happens, clean the fixing rollers by printing on cleaning paper, using the
Additional Functions mode.
NOTE
• If printed documents have small dots or black lines, the fixing roller may be dirty. (See “Roller Cleaning
When Small Spots Appear,” and “Roller Cleaning When Black Streaks Appear,” in the Reference Guide.)
