Supplies
Your machine uses the following supplies and optional attachments. For details, contact your ser-
vice representative.
WARNING
• Do not store cartridges or paper stock in places exposed to open flames as this may cause the
toner or paper to ignite and result in burns or a fire.
CAUTION
• Keep toner and other consumables out of the reach of small children. If these items are ingested,
consult a physician immediately .
Paper
Obtain replacement paper and cartridges from your service representative before supplies run out.
In addition to plain paper, the machine
uses colored paper, transparencies, label
stock, and other media. For details,
contact your service representative.
NOTE
• For high-quality copies and printouts, use
paper recommended by Canon.
• Paper not loaded in the machine should
be stored in the original protective wrap-
per to guard against moisture.
Cartridges
When the “No toner” message appears,
replace the cartridge with a Canon
cartridge.
WARNING
• Do not throw a cartridge into open
flames as this may cause the toner to
ignite and result in burns or fire.
• Store cartridges in a cool place that is
not exposed to direct sunlight. Recom-
mended storage conditions are 86˚F
temperature or below and humidity of
80% or below.
