Paper Jam in the Duplex Unit
If a paper jam occurs in the duplex unit, a
display similar to the one shown appears in
the touch panel display. Check where the jam
occurred, and follow the procedure below and
the procedure that appears in the touch panel
display to remove the jammed paper.
CAUTION
• The area around the fuser unit and the
output area are subject to high tempera-
tures. Take adequate precautions to
avoid burns when removing the jammed
paper. Do not touch any other areas
except the designated areas for this pur-
pose.

Lightly press the top, center area of the
duplex unit to open the front cover.
