Cleaning When Black Lines Appear on a Copy or Printout (Roller
Cleaning 2)
If printed pages show black streaks, the cause is probably a dirty roller. The following procedure
describes how to clean the roller.
NOTE
• Check that there are LTR-size sheets of paper in the paper drawer or stack bypass before you start
cleaning.
• Clean the rollers with six sheets of paper. If the optional duplex unit is installed, clean the rollers with three
sheets of paper .

Press the
[Start]
key to start the clean-
ing process again.

Press the [Done] key.
Repeat until the Additional Functions screen closes.
