contains three callouts which are defined as follows:

This section of the screen displays the name of the MIB command used to perform this
procedure (atmIntfConfigSide) and the OID string the SNMP application is using to access
this information (1.3.6.1.2.1.37.14.1.14.1.3).

This section of the screen displays the current MIB command selected (atmIntfConfigSide),
the interface selected (40101, or port 1 of ANIM 1 of the 9A686-04 installed in slot 4), and the
type of side available for this interface. Currently, this interface is not set to be on either the
network or user side of the stack (other). This indicates that this interface is either using ILMI
4.0 to autoconfigure the Signalling Stack, or it is using a Signalling stack that does not require
a network or user side connection (PNNI or BICI). The other available options for this field
are as follows:

This section of the screen displays the current configuration of all front panel and backplane
interfaces.
Figure 4-2
shows that ports 2 and 3 of ANIM 1 of the 9A686-04 installed in slot 4
have been configured to be on the user and network side respectively. Port 1 has kept the
default setting of “other”, which can indicate an ILMI 4.0, PNNI 1.0, or BICI 2.0 stack.
NOTE
The Signalling side may not be set for the following stack types:
autoConfig (ILMI 4.0)
atmfPnni1Dot0 (PNNI 1.0)
atmfBici2Dot0 (BICI 2.0)
The above settings determine the side automatically, or force the side to network.

CAUTION
Once the Signalling side is configured via the ATOM MIB, this setting will remain on
this interface until the user sets the Signalling type back to autoconfig (ILMI 4.0), or
the 9A686-04 is removed from the chassis, and NVRAM is cleared via Mode Switch
7. Any other default settings that have been changed on this 9A686-04 will also be
lost.
