5.3.6.6 Video Monitor
This page defines the video monitor to be used in the Protocol.
The Video monitor page contains the following definition fields:
Name
– Name of the Video monitor.
Video device
– Imaging device selection for video option.
Video resolution
– Selection of video resolution for capturing – only PAL available.
Requested frame rate
– Video frame rate selection.
Audio device
– Sound controller selection for video option.
Average bitrate (kbyte/s)
– Selection for
average bit rate
in MPEG-2 encoding of the
captured video. Higher bit rate indicates lighter compression providing better video
quality and lower bit rate means heavy compression and poorer video quality.
Recommendation:
Use PAL settings according to the screenshot.
5.3.7 Finalizing the Protocol
After you have completed Protocol definitions on all subtabs (create or edit) click OK
button to complete this procedure.
