Protocol.xml
This XML file contains all information of the Protocol needed to read the data. The
format of this file is fixed, while the format of DataSetProtocol.xml might change
during further development of NeurOne. There may be additions to Protocol.xml also
in future versions, but the elements listed here are guaranteed to stay as they are.

Description
TableProtocol ActualSamplingFrequency
The sampling frequency actually used during
measurement.
This
can
be
different
than
SamplingFrequency, if a simulation file is used, which
has a different sampling frequency than defined in the
Protocol.
SamplingFrequency
The sampling frequency defined in the Protocol.
ProtocolName
The name of the Protocol given in NeurOne PC Software
TableInput
AlternatingCurrent
AC-mode or DC-mode amplification used for the input.
Filter
Hardware filter used during measurement.
RangeAsCalibratedMaximum
True max level/Calibrated value (e.g. temperature high).
RangeAsCalibratedMinimum
True min level/Calibrated value (e.g. temperature low).
RangeMaximum
Maximum raw signal level corresponding to true max
measured in calibration.
RangeMinimum
Minimum raw signal level corresponding to true min
measured in calibration.
Name
Name of the input.
InputNumber
Sequential number of the input, not to be confused with
PhysicalInputNumber. For example, if PhysicalInputs are
2,4,5 – the corresponsing InputNumbers are 1,2,3 (always
starting from 1).
SignalType
Type of the measured signal, e.g. EMG or EEG.
Unit
Unit of the measured signal, e.g. nV or °C.
IsReferential
True if the input is measured as unipolar against the
physical REF lead on the amplifier. False, if the input is a
bipolar input.
PhysicalInputNumber
Number of the input, corresponding to the amplifier
pinout, such that input 41 is the first input of amp 2.
TableInfo
Revision
Version of the Protocol file format.
NeurOneVersion
Version of NeurOne PC Software used during the last
update to the Protocol. This field is also updated when
measurement is imported to the NeurOne PC Software.
