4.4 EXG Amplifier
A single NeurOne EXG amplifier offers 32 monopolar channels and 8 bipolar channels,
allowing up to 40 available measurement channels. You can use either the safety
connectors in the front panel or the D-connectors in the back panel for each channel.
Amplifier front panel connections:
1.
Monopolar inputs
–
Channels 1
– 32 with safety connectors.
2.
Bipolar inputs
–
Channels 33
– 40 with safety connectors: red = signal, black =
reference.
3.
Reference inputs (REF)
–
The reference input for all monopolar channels.
4.
Patient ground
(PGND)
–
Used for both monopolar and bipolar channels.
5.
Ground (GND)
–
Electric ground, used for modules/sensors that are not directly
electrically connected to skin like GSR module, breathing belt, piezo sensors etc.
Use patient ground (PGND) to connect the ground electrode.
