4.13 AC Adapters
Use only the AC adapter delivered with NeurOne system. Available AC adapter models for
NeurOne Main unit are:
Powerbox AC power adapter, EXM 80 5118
PROTEC POWER, Model: PMP60-12
FSP GROUP INC. AC/DC Adapter, FSP030-RCAM (
only for model Black
)
4.14 Battery Pack Use
EXG amplifier can be powered by mains power directed through the Main Unit or by
external Battery Pack 12 V.
Tesla amplifiers can be powered by Battery Pack 6 V or by Battery Pack 7.2 V or
through Main Unit (model Black High).
Battery Pack 7.2 V may not be used in MRI!
The Main Unit is always powered by mains power.
The Battery Pack can be used in any conditions, but it is especially useful in restrictive
measurement environments, such as inside a magnetic resonance imaging scanner or
where a stable electrical ground is not available.
You can use one Battery Pack to power one or two EXG or Tesla amplifiers, with the
correct Battery cable.
4.14.1 New Battery Packs with battery type and low battery state detection
There are new types of Battery Pack available for Tesla amplifiers. These provide
battery type detection and low battery state indication to Tesla amplifier. The
requirements for these new features are:
- New type of Tesla amplifier identified by lette
r “B” in serial number

New type of battery identified by symbol “i” on the label
- New type of power cable
Currently there is a 7.2 V Battery Pack available with these new features.
