Connection to external
processor
This function must be used in combination with the customisation
program provided by the Manufacturing Company. This program:
defines which data, among those managed by the instrument,
must be printed or sent;
defines the position where the preselected data will be printed
on the printing model;
enters characters in any position on the serial string.
To run these customisations, proceed as follows:
select the serial port to connect the PC to;
make the changes required by the instructions provided on the
PC.
To choose and delete printouts from the memory, refer to the
dedicated paragraphs.

Printed data transmission
management
It is possible to select three
transmission modes: single, spool,
archive and parallel spool.
To characterise transmission it is possible to set the following two
parameters:
ACK-NAK wait time
which defines (in seconds) maximum
character wait time. It is only selectable with ACK-NAK
protocol).
String delay time
which defines (in seconds) transmission
delay between the
strings extracted from the archive. It can be used with Spool and
Archive transmission mode.
User menu password
In this menu it is possible to set, edit and delete (password = 0)
the password.
Setting the password activates a user menu access protection
device (see Using the terminal chapter in the user menu).

Print with Negative Net(**)
NO, YES
In Standard and Sum modes, if the terminal is not type-approved,
it is possible to print with negative net.
