The meaning of bits <s5> and e<s6> is as follows:

Bit2 of <s5> goes back to 0 immediately following the transmission of the 6-byte status.
Bit3 of <s5> goes back to 0 immediately following reception of CP remote command; it is possible to
read the last acquired weight using the PA command.
Bit0 of <s6> goes back to 0 after the transmission of the response to remote command XT or YT.
Note that with multi-extension terminals the tare is rounded off when the extension is changed but
the modified tare bit remains unchanged (the operator must request the tare with every extension
change; this change can be verified from bit0 and bit3 of <s2>).
2.4.21 6-byte net weight and tare and scale status transmission request

When the command is received the terminal responds with the following string:
n<SP>y<SP><um><SP><s1><s2><s3><s4><s5><s6><CR><LF>
where:
n = net weight; n = 9 characters.
y = tare; y = 9 characters
The meaning of bits <s1>, <s2>, <s3>, <s4>, <s5> and <s6> is the one previously described in (
par.
2.4.20 and par. 2.4.10
).
2.4.22 Print request

Any printing not executed message is only managed on the display.
2.4.23 Reading of last acquired weight
PA<CR>
The terminal responds by sending the last acquired net weight by pressing the print key or following
the PR remote command; the response string is as follows:
n<SP><um><SP>PA<CR><LF>
n = 9 characters.
