2.3.1
Protocol for cyclical strings
The string is only sent on user request using the
transmission request
key or from external input. After weight transmission the instrument
behaves as follows:
if it receives the "ACK" (06H) character it waits for a new request;
if it receives the "NAK" (15H) character it re-sends the string as the previous transmission was
not successful;
after receiving three "NAK" characters the terminal displays the "NO ACK" message
(transmission error).
2.3.2 Cyclical protocol
The selected string is sent cyclically at a speed of 3 times per second.

when the request transmission key is pressed

Remote command protocols
Various commands are available on the serial line that make it possible to perform numerous
operations from a remote device (PC,
PLC etc.).
WARNING
The remote commands are only active if the extended string was selected during instrument
configuration.
WARNING
Remote commands are not carried out if cyclical serial transmission is in progress; in this case it
needs to be suspended with the "EX<CR>" command before providing other remote commands.
