12.6.5 Selecting WiFi Bands and Channels for TM80
The TM80 supports both 2.4G and 5G WiFi bands.
To select a WiFi band rate and channels, follow this procedure:
1.
In the
Network
menu, tap
Wireless Setup
.

Tap
WiFi Band
.
3.
Select
2.4G
or
5G
according to the band you are using. 5G is recommended, if avail-
able. Because there is much more wireless interference in the 2.4GHz band.
4.
Tap
BGN Channels
or
AN Channels
according to the WiFi band selected.

is selected, tap
AN Channels
.
5.
Select the desired channels.
NOTE
•
BGN Channels and AN Channels default to be blank. Channels need to be
selected to improve roaming performance.
12.6.6 EAP Certificate Management for TM80
You can import up to 10 certificates from a USB drive or delete certificates from the TM80.
The TM80 only supports certificates in PEM format. If you need to use certificates in other
formats, you need to convert the certificates before importing them into the TM80. The
openssl tool (version 1.0.2c or later) is recommended for the conversion, and you can get
the setup file on internet conveniently.
12.6.6.1Importing Certificates
Up to 10 certificates can be imported from a USB drive. Only authorized personnel can
import certificates.
Required tools:
■
An empty USB drive (FAT data format and at least 256 MB space)
■
One USB upgrade cable (P/N: 009-005409-00)
■
One computer used to prepare USB drive tools
■
One power module with USB port (output voltage: 5 V, output current not less than 1
A)
