If you are troubleshooting a problem, perform“Initial Actions” on page 2-4
before running the self-tests.
Master Alarm Self-Test
The Master Alarm, Area Alarm, and Local Alarm have self-testing routines.
The Master Alarm routine tests the following:
•
Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD)
•
LEDs
•
Audible alarm
It also displays the following:
•
Flash memory checksum
•
IP address
•
Programmed alarm setup
•
LED mapping
During this routine, the buzzer and the main relay are disabled; however, the aux-
iliary relay still triggers when an alarm condition occurs.
1. To start the test, press and release the
Test key

2. 0
through
9
and
A
through
Z
show in rotation for all of the places on the dis-
play.
3. LED Test
displays.
4. The LEDs go out.
5. LEDs 1 through 9 individually light green.
6. LEDs 1 through 9 individually light red.
7. Audible Test
displays.
8. The alarm sounds for 2 seconds.
9. The flash memory checksum and the Master Alarm’s Internet Protocol (IP)
address displays.
