7.5.2.4 Configuring Front Panel Network Interface
To set front panel Ethernet and make it permanent over power cycle set the following U-boot
environment variables. This may be done in Linux or U-Boot. If done in U-Boot, saveenv must
be executed to save the environment variables.

The IP addresses defined in
Table 7-9
are relative to active/standby SAM. When
active/standby switchover takes place the addresses are re-assigned to the appropriate
physical SAMs. Addresses ending in '1' are always associated with the active SAM.
Addresses ending in '0' are always associated with the standby.
