Figure 7.10: PMU-1 Configuration
ID
(or IDCODE) is the 16-bit integer, assigned by the user that uniquely identifies the device
sending and receiving messages (in this case, the 1133A). Essentially, this means that no two devices
can have the same ID on the same network.
Header
contains additional information on any subject concerning the PMU, of 64 bytes in
ASCII format. Type in the information and press the Enter key. This field could be used to identify
the type of equipment.
Input
allows you to select the type of signals you want to include in the C37.118 report or
broadcast. This includes all phase voltages and currents, Positive Sequence, Negative Sequence,
Zero Sequence components and Digital DSP Triggers. Turn them ON or OFF.
Analog
allows you to select all of the power-related parameters (Watts, VARs, and VA) that
you wish to view and turn them either ON or OFF.
Window Length
sets the integer number of measurements averaged for stability; small values
give faster, less stable readings; values range from 1 to 24 –
do not set to zero
.
