Installing the chain tensioner

Refit the removed timing system chain tensioner on the cylinder - head:

•

Fit the timing chain on the crankshaft and on the intermediate gear.

•

Remove the screw and collect the washer and the spring.

•

Fit the chain tensioner body on the cyl-

inder and insert a new paper gasket.

•

Tighten the two screws to the prescri-

bed torque.

•

Insert the spring and tighten the screw together with the washer.

Cam timing

Timing

•

Remove the flywheel.

•

Install the timing chains on the inter-

mediate gears.

•

Install special tool flange on flywheel

side crankcase and fasten it using the

two screws supplied.
